Course pre-requisite: Good blowdrying skills would be helpful. we suggest the essential courses proir to attending this course.
Course Content:
• 3 stem plaiting and braiding in both flat and raised method
(including scalp plaiting, classic French plait, plaiting around the head shape and incorporating different plaits in one style)
• Classic French rolls
• Classic Buns and Pony tails the professional way with outstanding finish, suitable for close up photography
• Learn back combing and teasing hair techniques
• Using Twists and Barrel curls to create shapes and movements
• Appropriate hair preparation to suit specific styling choice
• Styling and finishing product choice and use
• Correct use of bands, bobby pins and fringe pins
• Observe modern styles created from the skills taught on the day
• Create your own modern style using skills learnt on the day
• Practical demonstrations and workshops
• Good blow drying and styling skills are pre-requisite to attending this course
Note: You will have the opportunity to have your finished work photographed!
Tools & Equipment Needed:
• Range of combs (including a plastic and metal ended tail combs)
• Hairdryer and styling brushes
• Flat bristle brush
• Sectioning clips
